Over the past 20 years I have managed multiple change implementation projects across multiple industry sectors, including managing either small and large teams, or coordinated coalitions of employees and consultants, that delivered the client’s change program.
Sometimes people will ask me, “tell me what your results are” – looking for quantifiable and qualifiable metrics and numbers.
I respond with, “I have a few basic rules of engagement, and one of them is ‘I never own my client’s change program more than they do.’ So whatever they define as their quantifiable and qualifiable metrics, those become mine and we work collaboratively toward them. ROI, performance, jobs, operational achievements, whatever they are.”
